Lt Col Yaguchi is an Air Force veteran; the former Director of VA Programs for CSRA International, Inc.; and the President and CEO of GUCH Strategic Consulting.
Lt Col Yaguchi enlisted in the Air Force as a medical service specialist in 1978. After completing Officer Training School in 1986, he served in a variety of Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) crew, wing, and higher headquarters staff positions, and was a weapons inspector under two strategic arms control treaties (INF and START). He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2006. In 2009, he assumed duties as the Director, Nuclear Policy in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. In 2014, Lt Col Yaguchi started GUCH Strategic Consulting, LLC specializing in the development of strategic plans for small sized business and non-profit organizations. He also served on the Board of Directors for many non-profit organizations, including, but not limited to, The Alzheimer Association (Northeast NE), the Go For Broke National Education Center, and serves in an advisory role with the National Veterans Network.
Lt Col Yaguchi has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Washington, a Master of Arts in Air and Space Operations, Air Command and Staff College.
Lt Col Yaguchi has been a member of Armed Forces Insurance since 2017.
