With more than 30 years of experience in the financial and accounting industries, Mr. Fogt has served in numerous leadership roles during his career.

Mr. Fogt began his career as a mathematics teacher in Sidney, Ohio, and later took a position as an audit manager for Touche Ross and Company. He later served as vice president/controller of the insurance division for the Mead Corporation, and audit partner with Deloitte & Touche. From 1994 until his retirement in 2006, he was a member of the senior leadership team at AmerUs Annuity Group, holding the positions of executive vice president of corporate development and CFO.

Mr. Fogt is a member of the executive committee for Pawnee Place, LLC, a real estate development firm in Johnson County, KS. He is a board member and investor with VisionBank in Topeka, KS., where he serves on the compensation committee. He previously served on the board of First American Capital Corporation, where he held the chairmanship of the mergers and acquisitions committee and was a member of the audit committee. He also serves on the board of a local church foundation.

Mr. Fogt received a bachelor's degree in Economics from Wittenberg University, and a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Wright State University. He earned his graduate degree in Accounting from Xavier University.
