Getting to Know the Armed Forces Insurance Agency
Through the years, our members have continually let us know what types of insurance they need most. In response, Armed Forces Insurance expanded our ability to accommodate our members’ insurance needs by forming relationships with a variety of major insurance carriers. From these conversations and relationships, we created a subsidiary company, the Armed Forces Insurance Agency (AFIA). The agents that work with policyholders for their Armed Forces Insurance Exchange (AFIE) policies also work with policyholders on the agency (AFIA) policies.
Having an agency allows us to shop your insurance for you to compare coverage and prices to offer you the best value for the risk you need to insure. We have vetted the companies our agency works with to ensure they meet our high standards for customer service, claim service, and competitive pricing.
In addition to offering coverage for homes, rental properties, renter’s insurance and umbrella policies, AFIA now has options for wind and hail, flood, earthquake, auto, motorcycles, antique/classic/collector vehicles, travel trailers, motorhomes, watercraft, golf carts, ATV/UTV’s, pet health, commercial/business (including VFW posts), builder’s risk, and event liability insurance. Our members will always receive the same dedicated service from an AFI agent, whether the policy is written with AFIE or through our AFIA agency.
