Armed Forces Insurance is a reciprocal insurance organization owned by its policyholders who are called subscribers. Within the organization there are two groups that provide guidance and recommendations to the management team.
The Subscribers' Advisory Committee (SAC), composed of active duty, reserve, and retired military members, represents the insurance needs of our members.
The members of the SAC are also members of the Board of Directors, which oversees AFI business operations of the Attorney-in-fact. The Attorney-in-fact is appointed by the subscribers to act for and bind the subscribers in all transactions relating to the business operations.
